We saw quite a few types of birds during our eight days in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. We took some of these photos while quietly sitting in our car enjoying animal and bird activities at waterholes. We snapped other pictures after suddenly stopping on the sandy roads because one of us saw a flash of color or bird-like shape in a not-too-far-away tree or bush. And a few of the birds included below crossed the road in front of us or we saw them along the roadside.
